I just wanted to thank you for all that you do, to help out the troops. I have missed 22 of my sons 26 months of life thanks to deployment and basic training. It has been the toughest challenge I have ever faced(watching my family grow in pictures). However songs like the one you have here have made that challenge a lot easier. I am not to much of a man to admit that the first time I heard it I had to pull off the side of the road and wipe the tears away. To hear this song is almost like getting that last little energy boost when your running on empty. Your song has put alot of things into perspective. After a war naturally you want to get away from everything that had anything to do with it.In my case I wanted to leave the army. However after seeing the support when I was brought home and the support of folks just like yourself I have changed my mind. I am now striving to become a Drill Sergeant. Once again thank you. I am amazed we haven't heard more about this song. I just found out this morning it existed!! It is very powerful and so true. I am fortunate, that I do not have any family or direct friends in Iraq, I wish this were true for everyone. God Bless to all who give so much and get so little in return.
